Driffield is the last Championship Show of the year, now tickets for Glens but still a Champ Show. The entries are out and Glen of Imaal Terriers have eight which makes for a pretty obvious question. The judge at Driffield is a Gundog man; he has neither owned, bred or shown Glens. The judge for Leeds was a Glen man. His stock has been at the top of the leader boards for over ten years. It has been owned, bred and showed. Why in tarnation is the entry for both judges the same? Very few Glen people ever get a bite at the Championship Show cherry, next year’s list has no breed specialists up to yet, so how come they aren’t supported when they perform? Would Glen people really rather go under a non-terrier person? Curious indeed.
