It’s Discover Dogs Weekend!

Discover Dogs at Earls Court 1 is this weekend. It opens at 10.00am each day and children under twelve get in for free. Glen of Imaal Terriers will be amongst the 200 breeds on show. If you are thinking of attending tomorrow do bear in mind it is the Lord Mayor’s Show so there will be delays and diversions in London

Only away for ten minutes…..

…and some really interesting things happen!

The Associate Parliamentary Group for Animal Welfare reports and OFCOM doesn’t. APGAW is lengthy so that needs to be read with (at least) two mugs of tea. OFCOM should have reported last Monday but didn’t as the BBC threw a giant flounce and got it stopped. Exactly, how come???? Just why is the BBC so desperate to object to a little programme about dogs? It is no secret now that OFCOM found that three of the Complaints were justified so why the histrionics from the Beeb? Just why is so much tax payer money being used to object again and again? IT gets more fascinating by the hour!! Reports of the non report can be read here and here

…and just before the Autumn break…

News come through of a Group 3. Jeonty Highland Boy was Best of Breed Glen of Imaal Terrier and then took the award, fifteen in for the Terrier Group, at Terrier Club of Scotland. Nice one Findlay…and Patrick & Roberta of course!

It’s “frock time” again; the land legs will be back by the 12th so we’ll see each other then!
