Another shortlisting!

Whilst National Terrier was on in England the Combined Canine Show was on in Ireland and the Glen of Imaal Terrier flag flew with a shortlisting in the Group for Homer (Multi Champion Abberann Conan). Nice one.

  1. MOUNT NODDY CHARITABLE DOG SHOW

Last year, I had the pleasure of judging the Novelty Classes at the Mount Noddy Dog Show, with Joe Welch (Brockland) stewarding for me. Joe and his wife, Ruth, have supported the Mount Noddy Animal Centre for some years, with Joe judging the Novelty and Pedigree Classes in previous years.

Sadly, Joe passed away in June last year, just a few weeks after the show. This year, the Joe Welch Memorial Trophy is being offered to the Best Handler, and Ruth will be judging the Child and Adult Handler Classes.

It would be lovely to see some friends and Glens at the show, so if you don’t have anything planned for Sunday 25th April, and Chichester isn’t too far a journey, please do come along! This is a super show, attracting lots of support … last year we had 92 dogs in the Most Handsome Dog Class!

There are two Agility Classes, twelve Novelty Classes, the KCGC Bronze Award and four Obedience Classes, with seven rings to accommodate all of them! There are also numerous trade stands and raffles; and refreshments are available all day.

Here are details for the show:

    Mount Noddy Animal Centre
    Blackmill Lane
    Eartham
    Chichester
    Sussex PO18 0LL
(Off the A27 between the Tangmere and Fontwell Roundabouts)

Gates open and entries taken from 10am

    Judging starts at 12 noon

For further information, please contact Keith and Nicky O’Dell on 01243 790140.

We hope to see you there!

  3. Thanks, Stephen! If you have any “puppy people” in our neck of the woods, perhaps you could give them details …?!
