Catching up after May Day…

Now May Day holiday is over dog shows are starting with a vengeance and Glen of Imaal Terrier people are certainly out and about.

In Finland at Kangasniemi dog show Marfidal Sparkle of Meomodo was BOB and became a Finnish Champion whilst her brother Marfidal Pleasant Surprise was BOS and also got his Finnish Championship whilst at Salo Group Show Gleann Cotton Cody was Best of Breed and Gleann Curvy Corvette Best Bitch. In Dortmund (Germany) the 2016 Europasieger title was taken by Billy Tow Vom Deich and his daughter, Fear Fiuntar Candy Keva was Best Bitch and another daughter, McJakes Aivy Youth Winner.  At the Baltic Terrier Show Finn Glenn Glen Limited Edition took Best of Breed both days (good rosettes at that show). In Ireland Fermoy Canine Club had Daulton’s Midnight Sky of Galore in the top spot with Abberann Phelan taking Best Dog. In America Daulton’s Rory was Bob at Crawford County Kennel with Daulton’s Princess C Hateras taking Best Opposite

In the UK Romainville Rock on Ruby was Best of Breed at Birmingham National with Amhard Justin Thyme Best Dog. The two Reserves, respectively, where Ellerton Dusky Beauty and Boudivella Oscar. Kingcottage Boogie on Basil was out and about in varieties and too home a red rosette from Aberystwyth

Monique titled her e mail “more brags” but it certainly should be with the news “Oliver enjoyed his time at the Performance Scent Dog trial on Saturday in New Hampshire, becoming the first dog to ever earn the PSD Excellent Distance title and the Excellent Exterior title! Plus, four 1st places in his classes/divisions!” Laura Trainor added another Double Q to Niamh’s tally at the SOTC agility trial-what a fabulous photograph
