A slightly different take on Glens.

There is a lot written about the Glen of Imaal Terrier considering nobody really knows all that much. National Purebred Dog Day “did” the Glen recently and used a link which refers to a DNA analysis. Anybody know which Glens were DNA’d but more importantly where the information came from?

  1. When we started in Glens there were suggestions that Staffies had been bred into the Glen during the 20th century. If that is true, that might account for the Molosser genes.

    • Interesting thought Drew, and it is known that Bull Terriers are in the breed, but I was curious as to where his information has come from? The Glen community is still quite close and that is something that nobody has heard before….well nobody I can find anyway.
