…here in the UK a new Glen of Imaal Terrier joined the ranks of the Upper House when Bregorrey Lady Belleisle took the Bitch CC at Bath Championship Show under judge Ronnie Irving. She had to bow the paw to the (previous) latest Champion Romainville Billy Whizz who took the CC and BOB but I’m sure it wasn’t minded. The two Reserves were Romainville Rock On Ruby and Golden Spurs. Best Puppy was awarded to Amhard Jessie Jay
At the Helsinki International Show Gleann Una Noonan took Best of Breed, BOS Gleann Ungus MacGuire and Gleann Dynamite Mike Best Puppy. Over in America GCH Daulton’s Emerald Green took BOB at Holland (Michigan) Kennel Club and at Grand RapidsAt Trumbull County KC weekend, the BOB ribbon went home with Tipperary Columbo and Tipperary Cora Countess of Grantham took Number 2 in the Bred By Group. Ber-D-Mar Ballygriffin of Greystone did his brains and beauty routine very successfully at Walton Beach with a Qualifier in Rally Excellent and a Group 4 in owner Handled.
Many congratulations folks!

Bath entry figures are out and, with 2 Challenge Certificates on offer, there are only 8 Glen of Imaal Terriers for judge Tom Johnston. Bath, as a show, has no real Glen exhibition history as many owners dislike travelling down the M5 on a Bank Holiday weekend but single figures with two tickets……
Bath Championship Show is one of those weird “single ticket” affairs for Glen of Imaal Terriers. The one challenge certificate can go to either the dog or bitch best of sex and then the reserve CC can be awarded to either the opposite sex or the reserve to the CC winner. Judge Eileen Foy chose the dog Johnny Be Good at Romainville for the CC (another taking their first) and the reserve CC went to the reserve best dog Bailielands BB Ben. Best bitch was Romainville Aoife at Pajanticks & Reserve Best Bitch Romainville Inki
Bath Championship Dog Show is on this weekend and Terrier day kicks it off on Friday 27th. There are 12 Glen of Imaal Terriers for judge Paul Wilkinson. They are to be judged in Ring 21, not before 1.00pm.

Figures are out for Bath Championship Show. Glen of Imaal Terriers, judged by Karen Forbes, are on Friday May 28th and have 12 entries. Considering there are no CCs at Bath that is a very good entry as Birmingham & SKC (2 CCs a piece) only had entries of 13.
