PD (1)

1 White’s Abberann Cosmic Cowboy. Blue puppy with promise, liked his overall make and shape, just needs to settle and when he does should trouble the best.

LD (1)

1 Hannington’s Boudivella Osca. Wheaten with a good head shape and strong muzzle, correct front and feet, very good body proportions, would have preferred slightly more rise, moved so well both ways, excellent coat and condition.

OD (1)

1 White’s Ch Ir Am Sw Ch Abberann Conan An Ch 06/07/08 CW 07/08/09/10. What a pleasure to go over this 12 yr old blue from his very good head shape, strong muzzle, neat, correct ears, body proportions and depth and rise to his correct front and rear and muscletone. His effortless free movement, coat and condition was excellent. I was so pleased to see him go Group 4.

National Terrier tomorrow

National Terrier (at Stafford County Showground) takes place tomorrow. Glen of Imaal Terriers are first in the ring at 9.00am so set the alarms. Judge Bill Browne-Cole isn’t a slow judge so should finish in tthe 90 minutes allocated. The meeting after judging, to decide what the membership thinks the next step for the EFG should be, will be at 11.00am. This allows time for giving the dogs a walk etc. after judging. Obviously Jean will be benchside tomorrow morning for any last minute details.

We’ll try…

The recent discussions on cost has led to the suggestion coming in of actually comparing various years to see if entries do drop on the expensive shows. It’s a good idea so we’ll see what we can do. National Terrier 2012 entries were announced on Tuesday and there were 30 Glen of Imaal Terriers entered for judge Bill Browne-Cole. This compares with 15 in 2011, 24 in 2010 & 32 in 2009 so the entry is excellent. NT though didn’t do the sneaky.
