Yet another extension!

Birmingham National have extended their entries yet again! This time the closing date is tomorrow (11th) .There are 14 classes of Glen of Imaal Terriers for judge Paul Wilkinson and Terrier Day is Friday 11th May.

Scottish Kennel Club have also extended and they close today. Terrier Day is Friday May 18th and there are 12 classes of Glens for judge Harry O’Donoghue

A new Champion!

Birmingham National saw a new Glen of Imaal Terrier Champion when Romainville Billy Whizz took ticket number three and Best of Breed under Harry O’Donoghue. Abberann Dervla was awarded the Bitch Ticket with Abberann Phelan and Romainville Annabelle taking the respective Reserves. Annabelle was also Best Puppy with Donvaleset Rebus getting the nod for Best Veteran. Travelling award goes to the Whites who promptly turned around from Stafford to head to Newtonards where Phelan was BOb with Dervla BOS.

At Lahti Puppy Show in Finland Gleann Dynamite Mike was Group 2 and at the 2 day Ravenna Kennel Club Show in America GCH Daulton’s Emerald Green was BOB both days and also took a Group 4.

Well into May

As we’re now well into May with even the coldest parts of the world showing nice signs of Spring we’ll go back to Monday results. If anybody would like to share their show wins, agility triumphs, barnhunt enthusiasms or anything else Glen of Imaal Terrier associated do send them along. We’ll start with a weekend of nice results; Group 1 for Gr.Ch Finnabair Ardmore Ned, a Group 3 for Gleann Una Noonan, a double session of Best of Breeds for Rainbow Springs Beatrix Herself at Bending Oak and in the UK at Birmingham National Brockland Brayhead Lad was Best of Breed with Romainville Ellie taking the Bitch CC.
