Soon be March….

…..and exhibiting will begin in earnest for many. Glen of Imaal Terrier people are still out and about with their dogs though. At Devon & Cornwall Terrier Romainville Freddie’s Choice was Best of Breed whilst that award went to Amhard Lightening Flash at Sporting Terrier of Yorkshire. Meomodo Fantabulous Amy took a Baltic trip and picked up rosettes from Latvia & Lithuania.

Finnabair Double D Friend of A Friend left the cold weather of New York to travel back to Florida and picked up (at least) 4 Best of Breeds and one Group 4 placing at Okaloosa Kennel Club.

Canada recently recognised Glens so welcome to the first news from there. Gleann Holy Hannah on her first weekend showing took Best Baby Puppy In Show. What a start to a career!

Kelli had a superb weekend with her boys:-“Closing out our three day funtastic weekend with: 1 barn hunt master Q For Winston with second place; 3 CAT Q’s for Cooper with new CA title. 6 FAST CAT Q’s and new BCAT title for Cooper. 2 standard agility Q’s for Griffin, 2 FAST CAT Q’s for Griffin, 6 CAT Q’s For Griffin’s CAX!!!!! 🏆 some ribbons are missing. So much accomplished this weekend!! We had some great JWW runs but not in the green ribbons this time. So proud of team terrier and so fortunate to have spent such an amazing weekend with my 🐶 dogs!”

Bregorrey Sovereign Storm was also on “brains brigade” by earning his Canine Good Citizen award and returning some very fast times in a coursing test.

Congratulations everybody and needing a lie down just reading about Kelli’s activities.

Let’s celebrate the (theoretical) start of summer

Summer officially starts in two days so let’s celebrate it with Glen of Imaal Terrier successes. At Swords Championship Show in Ireland BOB went to Abberann Phelan with Daulton’s Midnight Sky of Galore as RBOB. At the National Dog Show in Erfurt (Germany) Finn Glen Glen Limited Edition took Best of Breed and became both a VDH & Kft German Champion

The Finns are always out and about and at Rovaniemi International Show Gleann Easter Eamonn took home the senior rosette whilst at Uusikaupunki Group Show Best of Breed went to Glenrosedale Buagh Ri Arthur Milo and Glenrosedale Banrion Ros Croi was Best Opposite Sex. At Eagle International BOB was Pearytail Bonnie B Goode with BOS Pearytail Arm Candy Andy (great name). In Norway at Tromso International Gleann Ungus MacGuire was BOB with Balloo Girl Best Bitch.

Over in America Echo Hills KC of Ohio saw Emerald Isle Keely with Daulton take BOB & Owner Handler Group 4. St Petersburg Dog Fanciers Association saw Finnabair Caatskill Lightening on the Shorelyne take the big rosette. At Bryn Mawr Ber-D-Mar Sweet William O’Shea was Best of Breed whilst Daulton’s Wild Night of Galore took back to back Best of Breed and group 4 wins at Greater Clarksburg (West Virginia)

A new name to the “brains and beauty” call is Bregorrey Sovereign Storm who took his first qualifying leg in standard preferred agility and also took first in class.

Well done everybody!
