“A fine weekend for Coursing Ability Tests in Hollister (CA) – 3 tests sponsored by the Basenji Club of Northern California and a rare Sunday afternoon test by the Monterey Bay Coursing Association. Saturday runs opened in a cold morning fog which burned off late morning and finished in mid-70s sunshine for the afternoon. Sunday was clear and temperatures climbed quickly, but never reached the predicted 90 degrees (unlike Livermore which hit around 102F).
Quinn (now unofficially Caatskill’s Mighty Quinn JE CA) ran his first four CATs and qualified in each, giving him the Coursing Ability title and one leg toward Coursing Ability Advanced (CAA). Molly (Ch Maille of Cnoc JE RN CA)had two Qs going into the weekend and earned two more for her title and a start on CAA.”
Well done everybody!
