Congratulations all!

At the Danish Terrier Club Show and the Danish Kennel Club International Show it was double celebrations for Hammersmolles Idun taking Glen of Imaal Terrier BOB both days. In Finland the Terrier Club Specialty had Gleann Ode get the nod for BOB with Abberann Fagan Best Opposite. The All Terrier Association (Ireland) had Abberann Karl in the BOB spot with Poachersmoon Sissy McGinty (love the affix) taking her first Green Star. Karl also took BOB at Clonmel and Limerick so a nice threesome!

Out & about over the weekend

At the Danish Terrier Club Show McCormac Earc of Slane was Best of Breed Glen of Imaal Terrier and then went on to take BIS 3 Senior. At Northern Counties terrier it was Puppy Power again with Best of Breed going to 10 month old Kirikee Ronan O’Gara whilst a 2nd Group Placement was obtained by Donvaleset Brier at North Lincs.

World Dog Show 2010 begins today.

Denmark is host to the 2010 World Dog Show and it all kicks off today. 19,354 dogs are entered and tomorrow will see 50 Glen of Imaal Terriers entered for the 2010 World Winner title. Many exhibitors, some from as far as the USA, are making a holiday of the trip as the Danish Terrier Club have shows organised on the Saturday and Sunday.
