Kortrijk (Eurodogshow) Weekend

The Eurodogshow in Belgium is November is November 17 & 18 and the entry fee increases after this Sunday (30th September). The Interra (International Terrier Association) Show is on the Saturday, combine this with the Benelux and Eurodogshow itself and any Glen of Imaal Terrier person(or any other Terrier person) going can compete in 3 CAC and 2 CACIB championships during the same weekend. The three judges are Vladimir Vukosavljevic (Serbia), Carl Gunnar Stafberg (Sweden) and Tom Hehir (Ireland)

 

Eurodogshow 2017.

Over the years Glen of Imaal Terrier exhibitors have crossed the Channel to attend the Eurodogshow in Kortrijk. This year the dates are 18 & 19 November and Group 3 (Terriers) is on the Sunday. The judge for Glens is  Alex Krasilnikoff. FCI shows have multi closing dates. The first one is today September 1st, after that the entry rises to 50 euros per dog.

A big weekend of showing for Glen of Imaal Terriers in both Europe and the US. Terrier Day at the Eurodogshow was Friday but in the States Montgomery is THE show of the circuit. Best of Breed, his third that weekend, was Dermot. AM CH Rainbow Springs Dermot RA NJP(Marfidal Quizzical Querk/Gleann Butterfly) is seven years old and certainly belongs to the maturity is best brotherhood. In Budapest Sean Delmar gave Best of Breed in Glen of Imaal Terriers to Irish Rover Sir Bob Brookmeyer (Inchmarlo Tuirbbe/Donvaleset Bonnie Colleen) from Junior with Best Bitch going to his dam Colleen (Jeonty Tinker Boy Murphy at Brockland/Monavoth Girl)

Basically England got together with Ireland, went to Sweden and then travelled to Hungary. Well done to Annica for being truly European!
