For the diary once more

BVA/KC eye testing on Saturday 21st July at Swineshead (appointments are required and some slots still available, contact jean@e-f-g.co.uk) but there is also a 21 class Fun Dog Show-judge Ruth Deardon (Gaelachgorm) with rosettes 1st-4th, trophies and specials. Running alongside will be stalls and a raffle so why not go and spend a couple of hours? Further details from Jean.

Are you going to Swineshead on Saturday?

Swineshead, a village in Lincolnshire and home to the BVA/KC eye testing event on Saturday. For which you will need KC registration papers along with your dog.

Swineshead, just off the A17 and venue of a Fun Day Dog Show on Saturday. Which will have a raffle with it so why not pack a prize or two to donate?

Swineshead, the home of Jean Rogers  (jean@e-f-g.co.uk) who is drawing up the final numbers for the fish and chip supper on Friday and the Chinese on Saturday so needs to know TODAY if you are attending.

Swineshead, that has a decent weather forecast for the weekend so set the Sat Nav for PE20 3HH and, if in doubt follow the “eye” sign and arrows.

The weather Gods seem to be smiling

The forecast for Swineshead tomorrow was, initially, not that good but a study of the forecast this morning says the rain has moved to Sunday so bring on the day!

Sheila, ceskyterrier@ymail.com, has just a few spaces left for eye testing. Remember this is all breed not just Glen of Imaal Terrier. Alison will have the DNA swabs. The dog show schedule can be downloaded for reference so let’s get ready for a good event!

It’s almost July

Next week is July which means it’s under 2 weeks until the Eye Testing and Fun Dog Show at Swineshead. The eye testing is being done by Peter Bedford and appointments are needed-Sheila on ceskyterrier@ymail.com will sort that out for you. The Fun Dog Show Day will see all monies going to Glen Health and Hearing Dogs for the Deaf so raffle prizes are needed. Let Jean on jean@e-f-g.co.uk know about that. Finally if you are a Glen of Imaal Terrier owner don’t forget that swabs will be available to enable your dog to be included in the DNA archive. Alison on efghealth@gmail is the lady for assistance there.
