SOUTHERN COUNTIES
PGD (2)1. Samuel, Jeonty Yippe Kiaye. 3 year grey with strong muzzle and good bite. Well sprung ribs and plenty of forechest. Has strong shoulders, good topline and profile ratios were good. Reasonable mover but could give a bit more.
2. Smith, Romainville Bilbo Baggins. 2 year wheaten with good head shape and strong jaw. Body has a decent shape but tad high on rear and also not moving at his best.
LD (1)1. Hogburn, Pajantick Razamataz. 19 month cracking grey boy that I really like. Good breadth to skull with dark round eye, strong jaws and large teeth. Good length to neck, strong shoulders and deep chest. Powerful driving rear with great movement. Still needs to mature in body and I really look forward to seeing this boy in the future. BD.
V (2)1. Barnes, Brockland Blackadder at Malsville. 12 year blue dog showing his age a little but has a lovely head and still got a good mouth. Strong neck, well-laid shoulders and deep chest. Steady mover.
2. Samuel, Jeonty Red Clover. 11 year red wheaten bitch of lovely character. Feminine in head with good mouth. Decent forehand and chest.
OB (1) 1. Seall, Ch Bregorrey Madam Defiance. 5 year old blue bitch I have had the pleasure of meeting before. Strong well-balanced feminine head, well-made forehand with good chest depth, spring of rib. Strong in topline and a lovely profile. Very sound mover with good drive and plenty of reach. Preferred her overall maturity to the dog in the challenge. BB BOB.

EFG Open Show critique
A Busy Weekend.
Obviously the highpoint of the weekend was the Glen Of Imaal Terrier Enthusiasts And Fanciers Club open show. BOB Romainville Billy Whizz, BOS Ch. Jeonty Meme Fern & Martin Phillips was the Judge. A new junior handler with Emily taking in Wickholm Gone In SixtySeconds.
Not to mention a very pleased Alistair Dunning at his first show taking home two of the sacks of food;- 1st Puppy Dog & Best Puppy with Romainville Freddies Choice.
Int Ch. Brockland Brayhead Lad was awarded Best Veteran from the seven present.
The EFG Show was held in conjunction with Birmingham Gundog & Terrier (2 shows for Glens for only one lot of travelling expenses). Billy was also BOB in the afternoon and then went on to take Group 4!
Back to back shows in the US & Dublin saw some busy Glen of Imaal Terrier owners. In America Columbia Terrier saw GCH Rainbow Springs Wicklow Warrior of Ber-D-Mar take BOB with GCH Emerald Isle Keely with Daulton Best Opposite. The wonderfully named Old Dominion Kennel Club had Wicklow Warrior bowing the paw to his kennel mate with Ch Ber-D-Mar My Dream of You Aoife taking the big rosette for BOB. At Baltimore County Wicklow Warrior was BOB and Aoife was BOS South Windsor KC Daulton’s Elric Moondance of Roscommon was BOB In Ireland Bainbridge had Daulton’s Midnight Sky of Galore get the BOB nod with Ch Abberann Phelan Best Dog. Portadown saw a reversal with Phelan taking Best of Breed and Sky Best Opposite. A puppy show in Finland had young Gleann Damn Daisy flying the flag for Glendom with Group 3. Congratulations to all Just one more thing…… there was one absentee at the EFG show. Yvonne Brown is having eye surgery today so sending all our best wishes for a speedy recovery.
