September starts with a swing

It’s rather nice to start September with a Group 1 and Best In Show3 for a Glen of Imaal Terrier. Gleann Indico Indy did it at Kihnio Puppy Show! Rosears Master of the House took Best of Breed in Estonia which gave him an Estonian & Latvian Junior Championship. In Germany Gleann Holly at Spirit of Ireland took her 2nd BOB on her second trip out.

Over in America a group of shows in Kentucky saw Kilkenny’s Across the Universe at Setanta take all 4 Best of Breeds with Keadeen’s Sir Emmet Mingus Glas taking Best Dog each time and also an OHG2. Beaver County KC was a win for Tipperary American Girl with Daulton’s Wild Night of Galore, Best Opposite. At St Clairesville (Ohio) Kennel Club Daulton’s Wild Night of Galore was BOB & OHG3 with Tipperary American Girl Best Bitch. American Girl repeated her BOB at Fort Steuben Kennel Association with a OHG4 with Wild Night taking Best Dog. Up in Canada Gleann Holy Hannah took a Group 4 and Best Puppy In Group

Liam (Tipperary Ballyfinboy Liam of Cnoc) showed his “brains” by qualifying twice in Instinct for Earthdog whilst Quinn showed how good he his and obtained his Senior Earthdog!!

It was the inaugural Southern Glen Walk and Lynne Fraser sends the following.”Delighted to say that we had 10 Glens and their people who joined us for a walk on the Racecourse. It was lovely to meet in person so many people I have met through Glens on facebook and for them to meet each other, I feel that strong friendships have been formed. Everyone was very kind and we have decided that next time we would like to find a village hall in the area and have a ‘Glen gathering’ for those who would like to come.  I think that another Glen walk will definitely be in order! Thank you to everyone who came and to all the Glens for being well behaved!

Great weekend indeed everybody!!
