We’ll try

Along with many other Glen of Imaal Terrier folk the trip is being made to the World Show in Amsterdam. Not for us the hotel so who knows what internet/wifi will be found to do multiple results and photographs? We’ll do our best to give you a full round up on Monday…but it might be Tuesday so bear with us if there is nothing there, or only a few things for the usual Monday round up

World Show numbers

Next week is the World Dog Show in Amsterdam and there is an impressive Glen of Imaal Terrier entry.

The Benelux Show (Thursday 9th) starts the whole event off with an entry of 27 Glens-Judge Rainer Jacobs (DE)

Terriers Day is Friday 10th at the World Show and there are 40 Glens entered there-Judge Monique van Brempt (BE)

Saturday 11th is the date of the Terrier Specialty Show and there are 25 Glens there-Judge Helen Tonkson-Koit (EE)

We know American Glens are flying over so it’ll be really interesting to see all branches of the extended Glen family together in the same ring.

And the Glen of Imaal Terrier World Winners are…..

In such an incredible entry of Glen of Imaal Terriers judge Birgit Seloy (Denmark) awarded Best of Breed/CACIB/World Winner to Christine Rune’s Dk Ch McCormac Noisio (Int Ch Agent z Roxburku/Dk Ch McCormac Etaine Echraide) with the CACIB/Best Bitch being awarded to Sissi Silvius & Mary Elliott’s Taramont Oran (Fin Ch Duff-Daingean/Fin Ch Taramont Iora Rua). Congratulations to everybody and the full results can be viewed here

“Other” things.

With everything being so busy with the PRA FUNd Raising Weekend some other things have got very neglected……no mention of shows for ages!

We now have a second dog Champion as Tommy got made up at South Wales and even though the World Show is in Stockholm, Sweden we do have a connection!! Paul Eardley, the judge of the Companion Show NEXT SUNDAY, officiated at one of the Terrier Specialities and judged Glen of Imaals and remember Homer of Crufts (look back at March 10th to see his photograph) ? He was over and added Swedish Champion to his title list via one show and then took the breed at the actual World Show so is now WW08 as well!
